As you may know,
Test Drive: Eve of Destruction
is the best racing game of all time and if you disagree then shut up. However, since then, there hasn't quite been a proper demolition derby game. Sure there's the FlatOut series, but those weren't focused entirely on cheap car destruction (except the first one which just didn't feel real at all) but beyond that, this is the one variety of racing that game developers seem to avoid for no reason at all. Until now. BugBear Entertainment, the makers of the FlatOut games, are fixing this problem with
Next Car Game
, which is a less arcade-ish FlatOut with much better damage, much better cars, much better modifications, and just a much better feel. It's going to be amazing and it's going to happen no matter what, but you can still give them some money right now to help make it as great as possible:

Scheduled to be released on PC first, both as a digital download and a physical disc, and then it will likely be brought to either the PS3 and Xbox 360, the PS4 and Xbox One, or all of the above. Be excited or you have no soul.

And that's one of BugBear's chief influences on this game, actually.
